Practicing circles in perspective ended up being a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. However, I noticed that it definitely helped while I was practicing drawing cylinders later in the week. These shapes help to make the objects in my drawing seem more 3-dimensional and realistic.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Euclidean rendering exercise. It was interesting to understand how light is portrayed differently on different types of surfaces. I was also able to grasp a better understanding on how a cast shadow should be portrayed and how it should fade.
