I enjoyed this project as I could clearly see an improvement in my skills from the beginning of the semester to now. Learning rendering skills along with drawing and presentation techniques has definitely helped further my knowledge in this major.Planning through the adjacency matrix and bubble diagram helped me immensely when understanding the spacial concepts I wanted in my cafe. I also like the techniques we learned in class in order to bring our rendered perspectives to life through adding people and objects.  I feel the skills I learned not only with this project, but within the entire course will be carried with me through out the rest of my career. 

I wanted to make my programming within the same colors that may be seen in the cafe. I believe this will help my presentation quality. I struggled when finding a place for the lounge and study area since it needs to be separated from loud areas such as the cash register and the coffee and creamer bar. Over all, I like my floor plan but I'd like to clean it up a bit just for craft purposes. I like the idea that people can sit at the bar top and drink their coffee while they look out the large window. My cafe can seat 46 people over all. The sketch of my perspective was just an idea of what I may want to do. I think for my finalized perspective drawing I'd like to be more zoomed out so that you can see more of the cafe. 

The name I chose for my cafe is Bean There. I wanted simplicity with a bit of a hand-drawn and loose style for the logo. I decided on the colors of green and brown because it introduces a sense of  an organic quality. 

The first picture is a few testings I did while trying to figure out my logo. The class liked the logo with the deer antlers the most. I decided to go into a more professional direction when designing my logo on illustrator. I wanted it to be more graphically simple and for my initials and name to stand out the most. The last two pictures are the most recent iterations I've done of my logo and I need to decide between the 2.
